How Jira Quick Finder handles your data

Effective Date: November 2025

Jira Quick Finder (“the Extension”) is a free browser extension developed by Fede Ríos to help users search Jira issues more efficiently.

1. Free and Unmodified Use

This extension is completely free to use. It may not be altered, repackaged, or distributed in any modified form without prior written permission from the developer.

2. Data Collection and Usage

Jira Quick Finder only collects anonymous usage data necessary to understand overall usage (for example, total number of searches performed). No personally identifiable information (PII) or Jira content is collected, stored, or transmitted.

All configuration data—such as prefix mappings, history, and preferences—is stored locally on your device or synchronized via Chrome’s storage system (chrome.storage.sync). This information never leaves your browser or your Google account.

3. No Personal Tracking or Sharing

4. Third-Party Services

Jira Quick Finder does not use analytics, advertising, or external APIs that collect user data.

5. Contact

For any privacy questions or requests, please contact the developer team or Fede Ríos.

Summary: Jira Quick Finder is a free productivity tool. It does not collect personal data, track users, or share any information with third parties.
